Manuscrit

je préfère avoir des notes écrites manuellement parce qu’en les voyant, ce qui est activé ce ne sont pas les mots, c’est le temps de préparation, d’imagination, au cours duquel j’ai décidé comment j’allais faire, comment j’allais m’y prendre.
L’écriture manuelle réactive le passé de la conception tandis que le texte écrit au clavier le renvoie au maintenant, est-ce que ça tient maintenant ? C’est pour ça que je déteste lire une conférence parce que le texte lu appartient au passé. Le question “est-ce que ça tient ?” empoisonne le présent… Je ne suis pas vraiment là…

Posture

Quand je me suis mise à composer au clavier, j’entrais dans un autre agencement et je n’arrive plus à vraiment me souvenir de l’agencement précédent. C’est drôle parce que quand j’ai écrit ma thèse, j’ai écrit la moitié manuellement, et puis j’ai acquis mon premier ordi. J’ai recopié de manière assez fidèle et j’ai continué directement sur le clavier. Ce que je sais c’est que la position du corps à changé. Quand j’écrivais manuellement, j’écrivais sur un matelas par terre, assise en tailleur. Il y avait quelque chose qui me disait que c’était une autre activité. Maintenant je dois être assise. Il y a un autre agencement qui a certainement modifié mon écriture.

L’ensemble

Au clavier tous les morceaux de texte sont contemporains. Un morceau peut te donner l’idée travailler sur un autre bout, donc tu travailles sur l’ensemble, tu prends des décisions à beaucoup plus longue portée.

Labyrinthique

Peut-être que l’écriture au clavier se fait plus labyrinthique… Parce que justement le rapport entre le local et l’ensemble est plus contemporain. Tandis que quand tu écris manuellement, tu es là où s’est arrêtée la ligne, c’est plus linéaire donc. Le mouvement que tu vas faire est déjà prémédité.

Écrire c’est être dans un agencement cérébral particulier. Et il se fait que pour moi, quand je suis passée à l’écriture sur ordinateur, celle à généré une écriture plus expérimentale, où je sens beaucoup plus que les mots engagent, ont une force que je dirais cérébrale parce que ça plie, ça tord, ça connecte, qui me convient !
Du point vue de la lisibilité, c’est peut-être une perte pour le lecteur, mais du point de vue de l’inséparabilité entre le et créer, ce n’est pas une perte pour moi.

Posture

When I started composing on the keyboard, I was entering another arrangement and I can no longer really remember the previous one. It’s funny because when I wrote my thesis, I wrote half of it manually, and then I got my first computer. I copied it quite accurately and continued directly on the keyboard. What I do know is that the body’s position has changed. When I wrote by hand, I wrote on a mattress on the floor, sitting cross-legged. There was something that told me it was another activity. Now I have to sit down. There’s another arrangement that certainly changed my handwriting.

The Ensemble

On the keyboard all the text pieces are contemporary. One piece can give you the idea of working on another part, so you work on the whole, you make decisions at a much longer range.

Labyrinthine

Maybe keyboard writing is becoming more labyrinthine… Because the relationship between the local and the whole is more contemporary. While when you write manually, you are where the line stopped, so it’s more linear. The move you’re about to make is like premeditated.

Writing is being in a particular brain arrangement. And it happens that for me, when I switched to writing on a computer, it generated a more experimental writing, where I feel much more than the words engage, have a force that I would say cerebral because it bends, it twists, it connects, that suits me!
From the point of view of readability, it may be a loss for the reader, but from the point of view of the inseparability between reading and creating, it is not a loss for me.
