I was pretty thrilled to learn about your event and, as an eastern-french hacktivist and artist, I was also gladly surprised to discover NØ School Nevers. I’m a member of the Hackstub, the hackerspace of Strasbourg, and of the brusseler ASBL petites singularités, that can both relate with the content of your CFP, “Reclaiming Digital Agency”.
I was obviously willing to apply to your CFP it until I discovered that it requires to fill in a G̸͍͇̚á̶̙̘g̷̋͝ͅģ̶̓l̸͍̀e̸̻͐ form. Worse, it’s including some very explicit, personal questions that one wouldn’t like to provide them as is (although they may already know the answers…). So let me reclaim digital agency: couldn’t you switch to either Framaforms or Cryptpad? If you’re too busy for switching now, couldn’t we at least make it possible to apply by email to this address?
Since I’m part of the people “simply concerned about our digital rights and the lack of agency across the online platforms we use”, I’m pretty sure I won’t be the only candidate to be disappointed by this and I hope there won’t be too many applicants to provide those infos to one of our biggest enemy.
