Bee Balm Collective's work against the violence of ICE

To our community —

In the wake of the ICE’s killing of Alex Pretti yesterday in Minneapolis — a 37-year-old ICU nurse and neighbor— we at Bee Balm Collective have seen a surge in requests for herbal care kits for folks on the frontlines and those impacted by ICE’s violence.

Bee Balm Collective is a collective of disabled & neurodivergent QTBIPOC artists, organizers, herbalists, care workers, bodyworkers, and cultural workers building a thriving community gathering space on occupied Dakhota land. We began mutual aid work in May 2020 in response to the murder of George Floyd and the global uprising that followed. Through donation-based medicine making, workshops, art, and healing-centered programs, we create spaces of nourishment, joy, rest, skill-sharing, and collective care rooted in ancestral and autonomous health practices.

:herb: We’re asking for your support to help provide herbal supplies and care to our communities facing the violence of ICE and federal enforcement.
:sparkles: May we continue to co-create worlds rooted in healing, care, and collective liberation.

Thank you, and thank you for being part of this work.

The last letter I sent didn’t have some vital information on it! So let’s try this again…
