Par Suprise ! L’écriture du prochain recueil de THX a commencé lors de notre résidence estivale entre les deux bibliothèques anarchistes de Tiohtià:ke[1] : la DIRA (qui a fêté ses 20 ans le 9 septembre dernier 
) et la bibliothèque de l’Achoppe.
Le sujet — comment démilitariser le monde ? — étant ardu et étendu, nous prévoyons une seconde résidence d’écriture dans la même veine à Bruxelles en octobre à ZonneKlopper, 23 avenue de la verrerie – 1190 FOREST.

Ça y est, le site https://offdem.net/ est ouvert à la liberté, au désir, à l’émancipation et au faire-sens-ensemble : il accueille toutes les informations relatives au festival intersectionnel des pratiques collectives et de la production de technologies libres. On y trouve notre histoire comme point de départ et un forum ouvert pour organiser les prochaines éditions décentralisées, en commençant par O₄FFDEM BXL à Bruxelles, le premier week-end de février 2024.

PUBLIC
Le project PUBLIC visant à promouvoir les bases d’une infrastructure publique numérique en Europe est relancé. Il a déménagé depuis PUBLIC.cat vers https://public.zoethical.org/ afin de le replacer dans le giron des petites singularités et également de laisser la place sur le domaine original aux activités de la communauté catalane.
PUBLIC (Public Universal Base: Libre Infrastructure Community) revient avec une approche minimaliste où chaque catégorie est associée à un groupe, ce qui permet de choisir l’intensité de son engagement dans la communauté politisée du logiciel libre européen, avec notamment des groupes de travail :
- sur « l’euro digital » afin de s’assurer d’une approche respectueuse de la vie privée
- sur « l’interopérabilité » pour nourrir le débat européen autour du logiciel libre notamment dans le cadre du Digital Services Act et plus largement dans la stratégie digitale de l’Europe.
- sur « l’abolition de FRONTEX » pour observer et contrer l’expansion du complexe militaro-industriel aux frontières.

The topic — how to demilitarize the world? — being hard and vast, we’re programming a second writing residency in the same vein in Brussels in October at ZonneKlopper, 23 avenue de la verrerie – 1190 FOREST.

You can find our story as a starting point and an open forum to organize the next decentralized events, starting with O₄FFDEM BXL in Brussels, on the first week-end of February 2024.

The PUBLIC project aiming at promoting the foundations for a public digital infrastructure in Europe rebooted. It moved from PUBLIC.cat to https://public.zoethical.org/ to take in back under petites singularités and also to leave some space on the original domain to the Catalan community.
PUBLIC (Public Universal Base: Libre Infrastructure Community) comes back with a minimalist approach where each category is bound to a group, which allows each person to choose the intensity of their involvement with the politicized community of free software in Europe, including the following working groups:
- on the « Digital euro » to ensure an approach that respect privacy
- on « interoperability » to nourish the European debate around free software, notably with respect to the Digital Services Act and more broadly within the European Digital Strategy.
- on « the abolition of FRONTEX » to monitor and counter the expansion of the militaro-industrial complex at the borders.
