Déjà la cinquième édition d’async ! La fois précédente nous parlions de THX — Présence Solidaire, que nous retrouvons ici, ainsi que du soutien aux prisonniers politiques en Belarus et de notre ouverture de poste pour un·e sysadmin. Aujourd’hui ce sont les activités bruxelloises des petites singularités en mars qui nous occupent!
THX — Présence Solidaire
Le jeudi 3 mars 2022 à 19 heures, nous serons à la librairie Par Chemins à Bruxelles pour le lancement du livre « Présence Solidaire » issu de la résidence THX menée en Juillet 2021 à Amarauna.
Trans · Hack · ·X·st·nce—X pour exploration, existence, et tous les mots en -stance qui forment une transistance : consistance, assistance, insistance, résistance, persistance…—THX est un espace de réflexion qui réunit les praticien·ne·s du logiciel libre et celleux qui utilisent et pensent les technologies de manière critique, afin de former des terrains de conversation situés qui nous permettent d’envisager, en résistance, la société technologique.
Cette année lors de la résidence THX, nous avons travaillé au seuil reliant le « Soin Radical » et l’organisation de réseaux de résistance. Le livre qui en découle est une invitation à pænser la production technique collectivement, depuis le cœur des pratiques collectives du soin radical vers les technologies singulières qui peuvent en découler.

Ça y est, le week-end du 5-6 mars est complet : tables de conversation, démonstrations, ateliers, expositions et performances. Nous serons accueilli·e·s par le collectif Zone Neutre à la KBC.

THX — Présence Solidaire
Although « Solidary Presence » (or: Daring is Caring) is out in French only for now, most of the texts, beyond those originally written in English, are available on the THX site (seek the EN links) on https://thx.zoethical.org/pub/presence-solidaire.
On March 3rd at 19:00, we’ll be at the Par Chemins library in Brussels for the launch of « Présence Solidaire », the book stemming from the Summer 2021 THX residency held at Amarauna.
Trans · Hack · ·X·st·nce—X for exploration, existence, and all the words in -stance that form a transistance: consistency, assistance, insistence, resistance, persistence…-THX is a space of reflection that brings together free software practitioners and those who use and think critically about technologies, in order to form situated terrains of conversation that allow us to envision, in resistance, the technological society.
This year during the THX residency, we worked on the threshold between “Radical Care” and the organization of resistance networks. The resulting book is an invitation to thȧnk[1] technical production collectively, from the heart of the collective practices of radical care to the singular technologies that can emerge from them.

Here we go! The 5-6 March week-end is complete: round tables, demonstrations, workshops, exhibitions, and performances. The Zone Neutre collective will host us at the KBC.
thȧnk is a translitteration of pænser, using the letter
æto merge the words panser (to bandage) and penser (to think)—in English we decided to use the letterȧto achieve a similar effect from thank and think. ↩︎
