# Z7L Single-Sign On

1. SSO → Single-Sign On – a system to authenticate someone to several services at once.
2. Z⅂L → shorthand for Zoethical, AKA z7l.
3. [**sso.z7l.eu**](https://sso.z7l.eu) → Z⅂L SSO service

## Why SSO?

An SSO service enables authenticating once to use a variety of distinct services. At :ps: we use it to grant access to our members to all our services, and to provide some of these services to the public.

## How to use it?

Login using [Z⅂L SSO](https://sso.z7l.eu)

(Sometimes it appears as `authentik`.)

### Available services

- Discourse (several)
- HedgeDoc
- Mastodon
- Matrix
- Peertube (soon)
- WebDAV (soon)

### Register an account

- head to [Z⅂L SSO Registration](https://sso.z7l.eu/if/flow/default-enrollment-flow/?itoken=c7f025ae-f9fb-4a60-ae1d-341a231810fd)
- login to [ps.zoethical.org](http://ps.zoethical.org) and ask for memberships at [Z7L Single-Sign On](https://ps.zoethical.org/t/z7l-single-sign-on/6186) with your SSO username.

Hello there! I am having a problem with email verification due to spam filters on my former email provider when I signed up but I need to resend the verification link and now I am locked out. Can you help me woth this?

There is an issue with Authentik SSO currently being sorted out, please try again this evening or tomorrow and reach out again if there is still an issue.

Hi there @ajhalili2006. I was in the middle of restoring the SSO service, following a [nasty release bug](https://github.com/goauthentik/authentik/issues/11371) that hit us recently. SSO had been down since, but :ps: members were not too much affected since we had other running sessions and most services kept working; OTOH new accounts are probably lost, including yours, so you should be able to recreate a new one.
