# PS now listed as a signatory for the PMPC campaign

It took us only 9 years to be listed in the [supporting organisations](https://publiccode.eu/#organisations) of the PMPC campaign of FSFE. 😅 I was reminded during @mk1’s talk at BalCCon to send an email and get this done. Thank you Matthias for the heads up, and Johannes for the quick response.

It’s been almost a decade of campaign to get free software recognized in the institutions. Yet, even today, this is _not_ a formal requirement for public spending to require a free software license of the resulting software!
